01

What We Build

Sites with a job to do: get found, load fast, and turn visitors into calls and quote requests. Examples are in our work section, and you can ask for a live walkthrough of anything we've built.

Talk Through Your Site →

Business Marketing Websites

For the business whose site doesn't match the quality of its work. A site that explains what you do, shows proof, and makes contacting you the obvious next step — on every page.

Local-Service Websites

For contractors, trades, and service companies whose customers search "near me." Built around calls, quote requests, and service areas — with the structure search engines need to show you for local searches.

Landing Pages & Funnels

For ad traffic that lands on a generic homepage and leaves. A page built for one offer and one action, so the money you spend on ads has somewhere designed to convert it.

Website Redesigns

For the site that's slow, dated, or invisible on phones. We rebuild it properly — and map old URLs to new ones so the search standing you've earned carries over instead of resetting.

Integrations

For the site that should be doing more than sitting there. Booking calendars, CRM connections, and forms that route to the right person — so a visitor's next step happens on the site, not in phone tag.

02

Built Right Underneath

Two sites can look identical and perform nothing alike. The difference is under the hood — and it's standard in every site we ship, not an upsell.

Technical SEO foundations

Clean metadata, structured data, sitemaps, and a logical heading hierarchy on every page — the groundwork search engines read before they decide whether to show you. Skipping it is why pretty sites stay invisible.

Mobile-first usability

Most local searches happen on a phone, often in a driveway or a parking lot. We design for that screen first: readable text, tappable buttons, and a phone number that's never more than a thumb away.

Performance

No bloated themes, no plugin stacks, no three-megabyte hero video. Lean pages that load fast on a cellular connection — because that's where your customer is when they decide whether to wait or hit back. See how we cut our own homepage from 204 MB to 9.7 MB in this case study.

Accessibility

Keyboard navigation, real color contrast, reduced-motion support, and labels screen readers can use. It's the right way to build, it widens who can actually use your site, and it overlaps heavily with what search engines reward.

Content structure that answers searches

Pages organized around what visitors actually type: the service, the area, the price question, the "is this worth it" question. When the site answers what people search, rankings and calls tend to follow.

03

Custom Code vs. CMS — an Honest Answer

Plenty of shops push whatever platform they resell. We recommend per case, not per our convenience — and the deciding question is simple: how often will you actually edit the site?

Custom-coded static sites

Fast, secure, and low-maintenance: no plugins to update, no database to hack, hosting that costs next to nothing. For most local-business marketing sites — where content changes a few times a year — this is the right call, and we handle the occasional edits.

CMS-based sites

Right when you genuinely edit content weekly — blog posts, menus, listings, events — and want to do it yourself without calling anyone. The trade-off is real: more upkeep, more moving parts, and more that can slow down or break. Worth it when you'll use it; waste when you won't.

Our recommendation, in writing

During discovery we ask how your content actually changes — not how you hope it might — and recommend accordingly. Whichever way it goes, the reasoning is in your written scope, so you're choosing with the trade-offs on the table.

04

Hosting, Ownership & Maintenance

Some shops keep the domain, the files, and the login — and the site becomes a hostage the day you want to leave. We set it up so that can't happen to you.

See Pricing & Plans →

You own the domain, files, and content

The domain is registered to you, the site files live where you can reach them, and the content is yours. If you ever switch developers or hosts, you take everything — that's in the agreement.

Hosting options

We set up hosting in your name and recommend what fits the build — static sites can run on very inexpensive hosting; CMS sites need a bit more. Either way the account is yours, and hosting fees go to the host, not through us with a markup.

Maintenance plans

Optional monthly plans cover updates, backups, monitoring, and small content changes — details are on our pricing page. Prefer to run it yourself? You get a documented hand-off instead. Both are real options; neither is a trap.

FAQ

Common Questions

Scope determines cost and timing. A focused local-service site is a smaller job than a large marketing site with custom integrations and a funnel. Our catalog lists starting points for common builds, and after discovery you get a written quote — so you know the number before we build. Third-party service costs, like booking tools or CRM subscriptions, are separate when applicable.

A focused site is typically a matter of weeks; larger builds with integrations, more pages, or heavy content work take longer. The biggest variables are usually content — photos, service descriptions, approvals — and how many third-party tools we're connecting. Your written quote includes a timeline, and you see the site as it comes together, not just at the end.

Yes. The domain, the files, and the content are yours, registered and stored under your accounts — not held on our platform. If you ever switch developers or hosts, you take everything with you. That's in the agreement.

The foundations, yes: clean metadata, structured data, sitemaps, sensible headings, fast load times, and mobile-first structure are part of every build — they're how a site should be made, not an add-on. Ongoing SEO campaigns — content production, link building, rank tracking month over month — are a separate engagement, and we'll tell you honestly whether you need one.

That's the goal of a careful redesign, and there's a method to it: inventory the pages that currently rank, preserve or redirect every URL that matters, and keep the content search engines already trust. No one can honestly guarantee rankings — anyone who does is selling something — but a redesign done with redirects and content mapping protects what you've earned.

It depends on how often you'll edit content. If you update weekly — posts, menus, listings — a CMS earns its overhead. If your site changes a few times a year, a custom-coded static site is faster, more secure, and cheaper to maintain, and we handle the occasional edits. We recommend per case, not per our convenience, and we'll tell you which side your site falls on.
